Starbucks Breakfast Blend is good at low grounds:water ratios, ground coarsely, and steeped for 4 minutes. The result is tealike in appearance but tastes like full-strength regular coffee.

Starbucks coffee is just too strong.

A walking destination

Walked up to Moondance with my parents today. Honey latte, extra honey and milk, easy on the coffee. I forgot to emphasize that it was "for here" -- the mugs are more fun than the disposable paper cups that are filling the landfills of the world, though I noticed the paper cups here are nicer than average.

How Coffee is Decaffeinated

I've gotten curious about how coffee is decaffeinated since a friend twigged me to concerns about a purported connection between decaf and cancer.

Alice doesn't seem to think there's a problem.

How does Berres Brothers decaffeinate that French Caramel Cream coffee I like? I don't know.
